Our ferret health guarantee
Our ferret kits are 100% safe, secure, and guaranteed to be in good health and free from any signs of infection at the time we ship them to you. We take pride to say that our relationship with you does not end once you take home a kit from us. As a family of breeders and experienced ferret kit counselors, we would wish to believe that nothing can ever go wrong with our kits. However, some things are not always in our control because a kit’s health depends on many things like genetics, exercise, nourishment, and overall daily care
We do not believe your ferret kit is replaceable due to emotional attachments but we do believe that sometimes the pains of losing a kit can be reduced when we can offer you another kit of equal value. In case of the unforeseen event of death within one year from its purchase date, or if the kit is found to possess health disorders (within 1 year) that adversely affects the health of the kit, we will replace it with another kit of equivalent value at no cost to you. The reason for death should be certified by a certified VET technician and we shall expect you to email us a copy of this health report.
Nothing makes us happier than knowing that we did bring much joy into your home with one of our ferret babies. We do constantly give you health advice to make sure your kit remains healthy. Here is a measure that will help:
Send us a copy of the health examination (a medical record) within 10 business days of receiving your kit. The examination must be carried out by a licensed VET.
Exceptions to this guarantee
Failure to provide your kit with regular vet care will go against this health guarantee. This health guarantee does not cover any costs associated with spaying or neutering, including undescended tests.
We require all our kits to undergo a thorough checkup before they are shipped to you. This checkup is performed by our licensed vet who issues the Veterinary Health reports for all our kits. This report certifies the health condition for every kit against Cardiovascular, Skin, Coat, Eyes, Mouth, Teeth, Gums, Musculoskeletal, Respiratory, Ears, Urogenital and Gastrointestinal diseases.
This health report will be filled out on the date of shipping the kit to you so that you are assured that the kit’s health is guaranteed. This report is then reviewed for any issues or concerns notated by our veterinarian. And if there are any issues with the ferret then he/she will not be shipped to you. We also require you to get your kit examined by a licensed veterinarian within ten days of receiving the kit.
